On the outside, Emma looks like a young, energetic and successful woman who knows nothing of human suffering. But her life has hit rock bottom. She grows sick and tired of the mundanity of each day. Finally, she begins to plan her suicide, choosing to cut off the monotony. Before committing suicide, she decides to take one last opportunity to see the world, if only just once. Not knowing whether there’s any value to living, Emma comes to Japan. Spending a long time abroad, she finds her own voice, and returns to Indonesia.
